Communion Ministers to the Homebound
Duties: Bring Eucharist to and pray with homebound
parishioners regularly; will also notify priests when sacraments are needed
Time: On an as needed basis; initial one-time training and ongoing formation
Special skills: Ability to comfort people with prayer; Catholic in good standing who has received the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist)
