Small Church Comm. Member/Pastoral Facilitator
Duties: Attend, participate in, and possibly facilitate Small Church Community meetings. Tasks include leading opening and closing prayer, initiating and facilitating faith sharing and discussions, maintaining the structure of the meetings. Some groups have an appointed facilitator, others rotate facilitation duties among the membership.
Time: Small Group Leadership meetings are held every other month except for summer and are open to all group members. Most small communities meet every other week for about 2 hours; each group agrees upon time and frequency of the meetings; preparation for facilitation may take an additional hour.

Special skills: Abilities to listen, pray, and share faith; to be an inviting and welcoming presence. Training and support is offered at the by-monthly Pastoral Facilitators’ Meeting.
