Education & Liturgy Ministry of the Social Justice Committee
Duties: Lead parish efforts to integrate Catholic Social Teaching into all faith formation programs, including those for children, adults, and youth.
Help plan several prayer services with social justice themes each year; assist the Litugist in writing prayers of the faithful which focus on social justice themes; help provide vision for integrating the Catholic social tradition into liturgy.
Time: Varies; approximately 4 or 5 meetings per year, plus involvement in presentations in parish education programs and liturgy planning
Special skills: Experience in religious education/faith formation and/or knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching helpful
