Sister Parish in Haiti Steering Committee
Duties: Provide vision for parish solidarity with our sister parish of St. Pierre in Baraderes, Haiti. Includes assisting with the following annual events: school supply collection, visit from the pastor of St. Pierre, parish delegation to Baraderes, Lenten collection of supplies, fundraising, recruiting, educating, and promoting the sister parish project
Time: Approximately 8 meetings a year, alternating week nights and Sundays; assistance with special events as needed
Special skills: A desire to be in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in Haiti; knowledge of French and/or Creole is always a help but not necessary
