Prison Ministry of the Social Justice Committee
Duties: Promote opportunities for parish education,
service, and advocacy in support of bringing God’s peace to prisoners. May include letter writing, helping with annual magazine collection, mentoring, helping with Christmas packages, or legislative advocacy
Time: Varied and flexible; Approximately 6 meetings per year, with involvement in projects additional
Special skills: Inspired by Scripture and Church teachings to do what you can to offer those who have committed crimes the possibility of redemption and making a positive return to society
