Silver Spring Interfaith Housing Coalition (SSIHC)
Duties: With a team of St. John’s parishioners, mentor
a low-income family to help them achieve self-sufficiency; or help to renovate homes and apartments to be used for low income or homeless families. SSIHC is dedicated to providing affordable housing for low income families.
Time: About 4 hours per month for mentoring; training and formation is additional. For renovation, teams work monthly and the schedule rotates.
