Should SJB Start Pre-K?
SJB is looking at starting a pre-Kindergarten program and would like to hear the views of parents with young children. If you have a child younger than 5 years old, please complete this brief survey. There are six questions. It will take only a minute. And it's a necessary step for SJB to start a pre-K program. Thanks!
Here's the link to the survey:
Please Help Us With Student Supervision
Brothers and Sisters on Band Days
Little brothers and sisters of band members will be sent to After Care on band days until their parents can pick them up. Siblings of students in band may not wait without supervision until the end of band practice. Mrs. Tifford, our band director, gives full focus to students in the band and is not expected to watch little brothers and sisters, too. We have adult supervision in After Care, where the kids can get some of their homework done, play with friends, and where billing is by the minute.
Early Morning Drop Off
Please do not drop off your children before 7:45 am unless they are going to Before Care. Students cannot be left unattended and unsupervised in the morning. Student safety is our first priority, and student supervision is our first responsibility.
New Bench in the Hall
Parents, we hope you find comfort in our new hallway bench? Over the summer, we decided that parents need a nice bench as they wait to make a request of the school office staff.

October Service Project
We are continuing Pope Francis' walk here at SJB as we collect food for our neighbors in need at St. Camillus Food Pantry. Each student is asked to bring in a food item from the attached list by Thursday, October 6. Students will bring their offering to the altar during our annual Service Liturgy October 7. (We still need parents to drive to the pantry at 1:15 that afternoon. This is a half day, and the pantry doesn't open until 1:30).
