Here are some ways that SJB could use help from parent volunteers:
Please contact the principal if you are interested and willing to take on one of these tasks.
Project Coordinator -- The school is looking for a parent to help identify school facility needs and solutions. The role of this parent volunteer would include soliciting volunteer help and professional help via quotes and estimates for the school and the Home School Association, of which the parent would be an appointed member.
Moving Mulch -- The playground mulch gravitates to the area near the shed. We are looking for any volunteers who could the school by shoveling and moving the mulch from the area near the shed to other areas of the playground.
Re-Lining Playing Paint on Parking Lot -- The paint marking Four-Square and other games is fading on the parking lot. The school would welcome any volunteer effort to re-line previously marked games.
The school soon will be looking into parking lot patching and surfacing, as well.
Lunch Duty -- If you are a Virtus-certified parent and interested in coming to school to serve lunch duty with your child's class, contact your child's teacher by email.
