Enrollment is under way for the 2020-21 school year.

We ask all returning families complete enrollment by Friday, March 6, 2020, so that we can plan for the next school year.
Enrollment notices from TADS were sent families by email on Friday, Feb. 7. Please check your spam or junk folder if you didn't see it.
Re-enrollment includes a $200 per family registration fee to hold placement in the classroom for your child or children next year. The fee has been reduced from the previous $500 registration fee. However, the payment no longer applies toward tuition.
Re-enrollment also includes the completion and submission of the parish verification form by March 6 for families requesting the Catholic tuition rate. It is parish policy that each family requesting the Catholic rate complete the parish-verification form each year. Simply print, complete, and send the form to the school office. If a family's parish-verification form has not been received by April 8, the family will receive a payment plan set at the non-Catholic rate. Tuition payment plans will be sent to school families in emails from TADS from April 8 to April 20. Please open the email from TADS (or to go to the Agreements tab in your TADS account) and select a payment plan by Friday, May 15.
There will be a $100 late fee for payment plans submitted late.

Tuition for the 2020-21 school year is set by the pastor and principal. Tuition rates will be announced in the coming weeks of February.
Change in Registration Fee
SJB decided to change from a $500 registration down payment to a $200 registration fee to fall in line with other Catholic schools in Montgomery County. Previously, SJB had the highest registration fee, and SJB was the only school to apply the fee to tuition.
The purpose of the fee is to secure a serious commitment from returning families. By lowering the fee to $200, we hope to improve our on-time re-registration rate. Re-registration will tell us if classes will have openings for the next school year. This is important information for school planning and for applicants waiting to hear if they have been accepted into a particular grade.
The change to the registration fee was brought to the attention of school families in the (Jan. 29, 2019) Principal's Note under the headline, "Registration May Look Different Next January." It was an agenda item at a school advisory board meeting in the fall and announced at a subsequent school board meeting.
Tuition Rate Changes Coming in 2021-22
When tuition rates are set next January and February for the following school year, they will look different. Instead of different rates for Catholic, non-Catholic, and preschool students, there will be a single tuition rate for every student with a series of assistance grants offered to, in effect, allow families to make payments at the Catholic rate, pre-school rate, and/or sibling rate. The change from multiple rates to a single tuition rate is required by Archdiocese of Washington policy. It will be detailed in communications later this school year and next fall. Our intent will be to change the policy with minimal impact on families. While we know single-rate tuition will look different, the change from multiple rates to one rate shouldn't affect the actual tuition payments that families make. Of course, any increase in the rate would affect payments.
