Movie Day Sign-Up for Parents
We are having our annual student movie day on Wednesday, March 28.
Parents are asked to choose a movie by Friday (March 20) for their children using the link below. Parents with more than one child must close the link and re-open it to choose a movie for their second child.
Here's the Movie Day Choice Link.
Pre-K parents do not need to sign up their children. They will have their own entertainment in their classroom.

Parents Needed for Good Friday Passion Play Mass
Every year at the 7:30 pm Good Friday Mass, the parishioners act out the passion and death of Jesus during mass.
We are looking for a few parents to play the roles of a guard, Peter, or Joseph of Arimethea. This is a simple yet powerful way to participate in Holy Week.
If you are interested and available for the the March 30 Good Friday Mass, please contact either Ed McCormack at edmccormack1960@gmail.com or Linda Donaldson at lp.donaldson@verizon.net.
Order Hot Lunches for 4th Quarter
Please send this order form and payment to the school office by Wednesday, March 28.

Bowie Baysox "Read & Hit a Home Run" Reading Program --- The annual reading program is well underway. The teachers introduced the program to the students several weeks ago and have been encouraging the students to read. Unfortunately, two sets of posters were lost in the mail and the posters were finally hand-delivered this week! All the students have to do is read 3 books inside or outside the classroom and mark them off on the posters hanging in the classrooms by March 28. Books read from January through March 28 may count. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a free ticket to the Bowie Baysox baseball game on Saturday, May 5 at 6:35 pm. We always have a great time at the game! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Maria Hippchen at mbhippchen@gmail.com or 301-996-6782.

SJB CYO Baseball
This season CYO has determined based on parish feedback that there will not be enough teams to form a league so SJB will not offer CYO baseball this year. Our recommendation is that you sign your players up with BAA’s recreational baseball league which is very comparable and close by. When registering, add SJB as the carpool and team preference and BAA will make every attempt to place SJB players together which is a fun experience for the players and a logistical convenience for coaches and parents. Contact BAA Baseball Director, Molly Surden baaleaguedirector@gmail.com.
Coming Soon
Registration for SJB Teeball and Spring Little Feet will open soon. Be on the lookout for announcements.
Want to Coach?
In order to take on the role of coach or assistant coach, you must be compliant with the Child Protection Policy. All volunteers/parents who have contact with children must be Virtus compliant. Please visit the SJB Athletics Virtus page to review the process:
