Thanks from Ms. Moore and the People of West Virginia -- Many thanks for all your generous and wonderful donations for the people of Wyoming County, West Virginia. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and unloaded the van and the trailer. Winter items were set aside for November and comforters were stored for Christmas. Sheets were sized and clothes separated boys from girls. All the clothes and sheets along with miscellaneous household items, toys, games, towels, toiletries, and blankets were placed on the shelves of the Itman Food Bank. By the time we left all was ready for distribution this Friday, June 15. Itman provides supplemental food, clothing, and household items to about 500 families on the third Friday of each month. For the last 13 years it has been run by Kathy Simonse and her husband, Arne. Kathy Simonse taught music at SJB from 1974-1999...she is the ‘founder’ of the SJB Spring Show! Thank you once again for your help.
Where will SJB go this Summer? Take a picture wearing your SJB spirit wear this summer. Send the picture to firstname.lastname@example.org and look for your picture in the front hallway in September.
