Father Andrew came to St. John the Baptist from St. Patrick in DC. He  previously was parochial vicar at Annunciation in DC, assistant chaplain at George Washington University, and administrator and pastor at St. Joseph in Beltsville. He grew up in Ann Arbor, Mich., majored in History at Albion College, served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, and went to University of Michigan Law School. After working as a contract lawyer in DC, he entered St. John Paul II Seminary. He completed his seminary formation at Theological College and earned theological degrees from Catholic University. As a seminarian, he served in L’Arche community and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.  He participated in the Institute for Priestly Formation Summer Program for Diocesan Seminarians and completed the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola before he was ordained in 2017.
